Join Michael Daly of Being Yoga for a 4 day journey into the sacred heart of mindfulness meditation.

Michael is a 20 year practitioner of meditation who has been leading courses, workshops and retreats for the past 15 years. He teaches with a blend of depth and humour that makes learning this timeless art easy and enjoyable.

Blending the best of the traditional meditation systems from the East with modern science, the Calm Living mindfulness programme is a safe and effective system for everyone.

You are taken through a range of techniques that eventually blend into a complete practice you can take with you into life. These are such invaluable tools for living in a modern stress filled world.

Michael describes meditation as the simple art of bringing your mind home for short moments, repeated many times.

In learning this artform, your brain changes, your physiology changes and your awareness shifts. You open into an entirely different side of your being.

Retreat Schedule

  • 6am ~ Silent morning meditation
  • 7am ~ Breakfast
  • 9-noon ~ 20 minute periods of both guided and silent meditation followed by short breaks
  • 12 Noon ~ Lunch
  • 2-4pm ~ 20 minute periods of both guided and silent meditation followed by short breaks
  • 4.30pm ~ 60 minute gentle yoga practice to release tension in hips, neck, back and shoulders
  • 5.30pm ~ Supper
  • 7pm ~ Evening Meditation Talk with Question and Answer session

Day 2 and 3 of this retreat are held in silence.  The remaining days are an opportunity to share and connect with others. 

This retreat is suitable for both brand new students and experienced meditators.  The aim of the Calm Living Retreat is to provide space and time for you to practice and learn meditation in a supportive environment.  This will be a profound 4 days of your life.
